Jack does not say "See you next time!" in this episode.
This is the last aired episode with the early Mary, with a slightly different voice and hair. In the rest of the series, her hair would be facing down instead of up, and her voice would be more high pitched.
In airing order, this was the last aired originally produced episode from season one to air as part of season one, making this the season finale of this season in that order.
This is also the last episode in airing order to feature Brian Mueller in a Laurie Berkner music video until Silly Show. This is because that episode didn't air until much later in the following year during season two airing.
Like mentioned above it, it's most likely they wanted it to be aired on April Fools Day, but its unknown why it was aired the following the year instead of year this episode aired.
Royal Messenger Marvin joins the King of Swing, Jack, Mary, and Mel for swingin' fun near the end.
